We begin with Cuban salsa — a joyful, grounded dance style that originated in Cuba and is danced in a circular, social way. Unlike the more linear styles of salsa, Cuban salsa is playful, rhythmic, and deeply connected to the music and to each other. Expect Afro-Cuban rhythms, simple footwork, relaxed partner movement, and plenty of laughter. No experience or partner needed — just a willingness to move and have fun.
In this one-hour dance workshop, you’ll be gently guided through the basics, building confidence, coordination, and flow. The focus is on enjoyment, connection, and embodied movement rather than perfection. You’ll leave feeling energised, warm, and uplifted.
After dancing, the experience softens into deep restoration. Participants are invited to unwind in a wood-fired barrel sauna, allowing the body to relax and recover post-movement. Sauna use after exercise supports muscle relaxation, improves circulation, aids recovery, and helps release physical tension. The heat also encourages detoxification through sweating, calms the nervous system, and promotes that delicious post-sauna glow.
To complete the evening, you’ll be nourished with a light vegetarian supper and a cup of custom, hand-crafted tea, designed to soothe digestion and support recovery. This final chapter is about slowing down, connecting, and letting your body fully absorb the benefits of movement, warmth, and care.
Come for the dance. Stay for the warmth. Leave feeling relaxed, replenished, and deeply well.
